I received my PhD (Doctorate) in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University. I spent two years as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at a pharmaceutical company. I co-authored seven research papers in major chemical journals. I also wrote a book that serves as the standard reference on the Stille reaction. My PhD dissertation focused on the properties and synthetic applications of free-radicals. My post-doctoral research focussed on the the kinetic and mechanistic aspects of the Stille reaction.
Experience
I tutored college students in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I also served as a Teaching Assistant for Honors Organic Chemistry courses. I love teaching and enjoy helping students understand the impact science has on our world. I have over 20 yrs R&D and Business experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industries.
